The Education and Training
Dr O'Keeffe continued to be president of the Pain Society and resigned and completed his term in October 2005.
Dr. Declan O'Keeffe attended the Irish Pain Society Meeting in October 2005 which was held in the College of Anaesthetists and presented a paper entitled ‘Recent Advances in Neuromodulation'.
Dr. Hugh Gallagher presented a paper at the Irish Pain Society in October 2005. He also had previously presented a paper at the Pan Pacific meeting on Neuro Modulation in Sydney in August 2005.
Dr Walsh also presented a paper on Pain Research at the Annual Conference of the Psychological Society of Ireland in November 2005.
