Department of Finance

The Finance Department is responsible for the overall financial management of the hospital to ensure that it is operating efficiently and effectively with the resources available. Its role includes the provision of accurate financial and statistical information to the executive and board.

Main Function's include:

The provision of financial and management information to the Board of Directors.
The negotiation of funding with the HSE, DOHC and other external agencies.
The routine payment of salaries, suppliers and collection of income.
Development of costing systems to support the management of resources including casemix funding etc.
Maintenance of financial controls and liaising with the Internal Audit Department
Participation in the strategic planning process.
Operation of the hospital departmental budgeting system.

Salaries Department

Opening Hours are 8.30 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday

Employee payroll queries are dealt with on Mondays, Thursdays and each monthly pay day.

Opening Hours 8.00 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday

Cash Office

Opening Hours 8.45 am to 4.45 pm Monday to Friday

Closed for lunch 1.00 pm to 2.00pm

Creditors Accounts (including employee expenses)
