Our Mission
- We aim to provide specialised appropriate nutrition and dietetic therapy, which is evidence-based.
- Treatment is delivered as part of the multidisciplinary team approach to patient care.
- We strive to enhance patient care by providing nutrition education to all relevant staff and through research, audit and evaluation.
- We endeavour to empower patients by becoming involved in managing their care
- We value dignity and respect for patients, carers, and staff. We appreciate each individuals personal situation (e.g. culture, beliefs, values, abilities and limitations)
- We encourage and foster the development of the profession through student training and continuous professional development for staff
Service Provision
We provide nutrition support and dietary education to inpatients, out-patients and those attending day care. Referrals are made via the medical team.
General OPD consultations are by appointment only. A reminder is sent to all patients 7 – 10 days in advance, to prevent patients missing their appointment.
Opening hours:
Phones are attended between 08.00 and 16.00
Dietitians are available between 8.00 – 17.00
