Library & Information Service
Library and information services are provided for the staff of St. Vincent’s Healthcare Group, as well as for students from University College Dublin on placement in any of the Group’s hospitals. The Libraries – one based in St. Vincent’s University Hospital, and one located in St. Michael’s Hospital – support the information needs of their users, and therefore the clinical practice, professional education and research activities of the Healthcare Group.
Resources available in the Libraries include journals in print and electronic format, key medical and healthcare texts in different formats, and electronic databases. Printing and scanning facilities are also available. The Healthcare Group enjoys a close relationship with UCD Libraries and access to UCD electronic resources is available.
