St. Brigid's Ward

St. Brigid's Ward is the ward where liver transplants are carried out at St. Vincent's University Hospital. This is a twenty-one bedded ward, on the fourth floor of the hospital, which consists of 5 high dependency beds and 16 ward based beds.

The visiting times on the ward are from 14.30-16.30 and 18.30-20.30 with a maximum of two visitors at any one time. Children under 12 years of age are not allowed on the ward except with the prior agreement of the nurse manager.

We would ask that no flowers would be brought onto the ward. The use of mobile phones is prohibited on the ward.

The Clinical Nurse Manager 3 is Ms Margaret Cullen and the Clinical Nurse Manager 2 is Ms Maire Ni Chinneide.
