Rapid Access Clinic for Pateints witha a Suspected Diagnosis Lung Cancer
In collaboration with the National Cancer Control Programme (NCCP), A Rapid Access Clinic for patients with a suspected diagnosis of Lung Cancer has been established. This is one of eight rapid access centres being establised around the country.
Prof. Michael Keane is the lead Clinican Co-ordinator for Lung Cancer Services in SVUH. The team consists of Respiratory Consultants, SpR and Registrars, Cecila Boland (Lung Cancer Co-ordinator) and Georgina O'Reilly ( Manager of the Radip Access Clinic).
It commenced on Monday the 8th of June in Suite 3, Ambulatory Day Care Service. It is a weekly clinic, run every Monday from 3pm to 6pm.
All referrals come through Georgina O' Reilly and the administrative staff in the Pulmonary Lab.
