Endoscopy

The Department of Endoscopy provides a service for patients requiring an endoscopic procedure – a nonsurgical procedure used to examine a person’s digestive tract.

We are a Joint Advisory Group (JAG) accredited unit and participate in the National Colorectal Screening Programme. The JAG accreditation scheme is a patient-centred and workforce focused scheme developed for all endoscopy services and providers across the UK in the NHS and independent sector.
