Students

We offer an undergraduate award winning medical education programme based on two weeks of blended learning. This includes entry and exit MCQs and OSCE exams as well as online teaching and interactive tutorials with the medical staff.

Students rotate through all the zones of the Emergency Department and gain a wide experience in the management of all medical, surgical, trauma, gynaecological, psychiatric and orthopaedic injuries and illnesses.

The programme offers a wide range of learning opportunities in the Department supported by online material, dedicated face to face teaching and interaction with a vast amount of patients passing through the Department on a daily basis. Doctors and nurses from St Vincent’s University Hospital are also always available to answer any questions you have as well as help students with any of the practical aspects.

We also offer a number of internship opportunities and placements with our trauma or Emergency Department team.
